Reading of the Records: from April 5, 2021 meeting Accepted as read

Sick and Distressed: Richard Marks is receiving benefits; Not sure if he is still receiving therapy - Jerry will check with Dick on his status…

Visiting Committee Report: None Communications: were read and disposed of.

Bills: March expenses were $4,337.61. Income of $6,142.77 was reported. April-to-date expenses are: $2,649.68. Jim Keller motioned to approve; Bob Finke second

Application for Membership: Interviewing Committee Report: Balloting: Degree work:

Finance Committee: Earlier this evening with Russ Allen from Edward Jones who made an offer to manage our portfolio. Discussion has been tabled until the May 3 meeting.

Building Committee: Will look into hiring someone to clean the Lodge as soon a job description has been created. Changes will need to be made to the building committee, adding new members to replace some who are stepping down

Entertainment Committee: Charles Males has reserved seats at Sight and Sound for the evening of September 25th. Cost is $20.00 per person. Will need to have money in ASAP to hold seats… Other upcoming events: Strawberries in June when berries are ready. Chicken BBQ, Corn Roast on August 7;

Member recognition Charles Males in working with Dave Minot about reserving the Vikings; and the Xmas Event in December. Unfinished Business: Jim Shiffer gave an update on the Flag Pole dedication on May 15 from 1 to 4. Food is being prepared by Bill Curry with doggies and sauerkraut and burgers in sauce, cake, and refreshments to celebrate this special occasion. Vietnam Veterans will be present.

New Business: Will need to check with members about officers for the coming year.

Membership Committee: Bob Fink - Activities Director for inside has some plans for activities for in and around the Lodge – Poker Night, Pool, Shuffle Board, Corn Hole, etc. The goal is to try to get members coming in and bringing along their friends who hopefully will decide to become members. Vietnam Veterans: have invited the Lodge to set up a stand at the Fair Grounds for Memorial Day. The Gold Star Mothers Show has been canceled. All veterans of the Lodge are invited to march with the group to the Vietnam Veterans Memorial. Those interested should meet at the Carlisle gate to march to the Vets Memorial. Speakers will be a County Commissioner, a State senator and a tank operator during the Vietnam War. We are invited to set up a table at the Fair Grounds Building July 21 to August 1 for York Fair week. (Building location will be announced at a later date. Bob Fink can get two free tickets for those who volunteer to man the table.

Receipts: Drawing: won by: Sam Thieret who was wearing a pin; $4 to be credited to dues.

Good of the Order: Nancy questioned if the Lodge is receiving payment for the collection box in our driveway. It was verified we are. Meeting was adjourned at 7:45 pm with 9 members present.

Membership Comm.- Bob Fink- Viet Nam Tribute/ ask all members to bring in one new member. Jim updated birthday/flag dedication. Hospitality- Charlie- Birthday /strawberry festival/ Sight and sound (sign up starting in April-$20 per ticket for member Building- Received bid for Grove Property to cut grass or remain with present service. After discussion Sam motioned and Dave Z. seconded to stay with present guy. Approved Flagpole- Kids from baseball program can’t help. Ask members to help get estimates. Thanked Ed for dart board. Found Key Pad(Kwikset Halo) for door. Will be picked up when I can get together with Charlie.
